Your Journey

Everybody’s journey is different. But it always starts with your Employment Adviser understanding your job goals and your personal circumstances. Read on to find out more about how our personal support can help you.

How We Help You

Personal Support

Meet your Employment Adviser — your main point of contact and support.
Together, you’ll:

  • Talk about your goals and circumstances
  • Create a personalised action plan
  • Access all the support you need to find work

We’ll even refund your travel costs for appointments (just keep your receipt). Private rooms are available if you’d like a confidential chat.

Build Your Skills

Get free access to our Skills Academy and training designed to help you succeed — whether you’re job hunting or planning self-employment.
Courses include:

  • Digital & IT skills
  • Confidence and resilience
  • CV writing, job applications, and business planning
  • Interview and pitching skills

If you’re exploring self-employment, we can help with:

  • Business idea development
  • Writing a business plan
  • Registering as self-employed
  • Understanding taxes and funding options

Improve Your Wellbeing

We understand that your health and wellbeing matter.
Our support includes:

  • Managing stress and anxiety
  • Sleeping better
  • Staying active and eating well

Join online wellbeing sessions from home or use our Digital Hub. You can also request an Online Wellbeing Check through your Adviser.

Find the Right Job

Your Adviser will help you apply for the right roles with fair pay and suitable hours.

We work with local employers to bring you exclusive vacancies and opportunities through Job Clubs and Job Fairs.

Once you start work, we can help with travel, uniforms, or equipment costs — and we’ll stay in touch to make sure you’re doing well.
